2013 Nissan Pathfinder engine confirmed, big deal debuting in Big Apple

There is a lot to like about the Pathfinder Concept Nissan unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. The thinly disguised showcar foregoes the body-on-frame construction of the current Pathfinder for a weight savings of about 500 pounds. Nissan also promises fuel economy improvement of about 25 percent with the production model, which would be no small feat. Motor Trend reports that Nissan has confirmed that the 2013 Pathfinder will feature a 3.5-liter V6. That makes sense considering the Pathfinder's all-new sibling, the Infiniti JX35, will also feature the same V6.

A wild and sexy White Galaxy Nexus has appeared

We knew a snowed-out version of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus was on pace for a February release, and while we've still got a few weeks left, it looks as if one or two have slipped through the cracks. The fine folks over at HDBlog.it managed to get a hold of the prized possession and for anyone who has managed to pass their eyes over the white Galaxy S II, there's not a lot to be shocked by. The bezel along the front remains black, but hey — beggars can't be picky, right.

Sony high-speed SD memory cards

[CES 2012] Amidst all the Smart TVs, digital cameras, camcorders and the Crystal LED Display that were paraded at the recently concluded CES, something as small as an SD memory card got lost in translation, but thankfully we managed to pick up word on this after all the dust had settled. Sony has expanded its family of SD memory cards with a new flagship series that were specially designed for ultra-high speed interface (UHS-I) compatibility, paving the way for DSLR users to experience superb speed and high performance. The new cards will come in varying capacities of 32GB (SF-32UX), 16GB (SF-16UX) and 8GB (SF-8UX).

Verizon Wireless has dropped the price of its Motorola Droid 3 to $99.99 on contract (until recently, the handset was priced at $199.99). This probably means the carrier is really close to launching the new Motorola Droid 4, which was officially announced at the same time with the Droid Razr Maxx. Since the Razr Maxx should become available on January 26, we might see the Droid 4 hitting the shelves the same day.

4iiii Innovations Releases Sportiiiis, the World's First Heads Up Display and Audio Feedback System For Athletes

The Sportiiiis Heads Up Display boom from 4iiii Inovations attaches to almost any glasses and gives you a visual and audio feedback on critical performance criteria.  You use PC, Mac, or smartphone software to program the Sportiiiis to respond to data from your current ANT+ training devices.  With a tap of the Sportiiiis attachment point, multi-colored LEDs will light up to show when you are at, below, above, or dangerously above your setpoint.  You can even hear an audible cue of your exact heart rate, for example.  In addition to heart rate, you can monitor power, cadence, and speed with the proper ANT+ sensors (not included).
