OnLive announces new platform features

OnLive has just announced some new features to its video game streaming platform to improve the service's overall experience. First up we have the introduction of parental controls. Parents can now restrict the content available to their kids and remove features such as chatting with strangers, Brag Clips and spectating. Parents with access to the code can easily bypass restrictions when it's their turn to game.

Sony S1 to be Named “Sony Tablet S,” Available in September

As one company bids farewell to the tablet industry, another electronics giant is about to set foot to the Tablet Wars. After so many teasers, Sony has finally unveiled its first of two Android tablets. The Sony Tablet S, which we previously refer to as the S1, is projected to be available in the market in the second week of September. It features a 9.4-inch screen with 1,280 x 768 resolution, 3-megapixel front-facing camera, 5-megapixel back-facing imager, a wireless keyboard and dock set-up, and micro-USB.

ITK Handroid robot hand can go where human hands won't

A Japanese company named ITK has announced that it's working on manufacturing “sensitive” hands for robots which are suitable for touching humans or handling fragile objects - a problem that's been quite a challenge for roboticists to solve. Called the Handroid, it is said to be one of the most advanced robot hands created. It features five fully movable fingers that can be moved like fingers on a regular human hand. Since the Handroid can mimic the operator's movements, all users have to do is move their fingers like how they want the robot hand to move.

Symbian Belle-running Nokia 600, 700 and 701 announced

Nokia has just introduced three new Symbian smartphones - Nokia 600, 700 and 701. All three of them have single-tap NFC pairing and sharing capabilities and run on the latest Symbian Belle. Nokia 600.
The Nokia 600 is the cheapest of the trio and the loudest phone of the company so far. It has a standard issue 3.2-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen with nHD resolution (360 x 640 pixels), a 1GHz processor, a 5 megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, 2GB internal storage and a microSD card slot with 2GB card pre-installed.

The Nokia 600 might be the cheapest but it is the richest one when it comes to connectivity.
