Bump has announced an update to their popular content sharing app, which will allow users to share content between their smartphones and computers. Users can literally "Bump" videos, pictures, contacts and other files from their phones to their computers. At present, file transfer size is restricted to 30 MB."Those solutions work really well for people who take the initiative to set them up correctly," Bump CEO Dave Lieb told Mashable.

Brazilian iPhone Goes Ahead With Release

Brazilian iPhone Goes Ahead With Release

We reported earlier this month that Apple has lost its iPhone trademark in Brazil to a company known as Gradiente (aka IGB Eletrônica), as the latter had held the iPhone trademark in that part of the world all the way back in the year 2000, which is a good seven years before Apple first released their revolutionary iPhone. It does seem as though Apple executives are going to be hopping mad with word that Gradiente will be selling an Android-powered smartphone that they have called the iPhone, or iPhone Neo One in full.

Apple Maps Blamed for Poor Bushfire Response in Australia

This is were the fire are… maybe. The Country Fire Authority of Victoria (CFA), Australia, is blaming Apple Maps inaccurate mapping issues in its FireReady app. Officials are stuck with using Apple Maps for FireReady on iPhones and iPads. A large number of towns including Macedon are located incorrectly, due to inaccuracies in the app. This makes the job of finding the exact location of bushfires very difficult.

To shed some context, there is a Google Maps, but iPhone/iPad Apps that query iOS for geographical location have to use Apple Maps.

Treasury says auto bailout tally drops to $20.3 billion

In December, the US Treasury announced that it was going to sell all of its shares in General Motors within 12 to 15 months. The first tranche of the 500-million total shares was purchased by GM, which took 200 million of them at $27.50 per share. That price represents an eight-percent premium over the market price at the time. The remaining 300 million shares will be sold "through various means in an orderly fashion.".

Google Now Widget Possible Leak On Support Page Removed

Google seems to be adding a Google Now widget to Androids in the future.  A possible leak on their support pages shows a screenshot of the widget. Although this image does not show a lot of information, it seems to show information that is usually available on Google Now, which is a service aimed at providing users with up-to-date information about their day. You can think of it as an assistant, which knows what you're up to by looking at your emails, calendar information etc…. Is this the Google Now widget?

According to the support page (which is now removed) the widget can be used on the home screen or the lock screen.

Fans of Naughty Dog's upcoming game The Last of Us were no doubt anticipating the game's release on May 7, but it seems like you'll have to wait a bit longer as Sony quietly pushed the game's release date. The good news is the delay will not be that bad as it's being delayed by a little over a month to June 18, which BestBuy has confirmed to their pre-order holders. Since Sony has yet to make the news official, there's no information at this time as to what exactly is the reasoning behind the delay.

Rod Millen to face Monster Tajima in Electric Division of Pikes Peak Hill Climb

The 91st running of the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb is scheduled to begin on June 30. Like last year's event, the 12.42 mile course – fully paved these days – starts at 9,390 feet elevation and doesn't stop climbing until it reaches an impressive 14,110 feet (the air is so thin up there that the FAA requires pilots to use oxygen at that altitude).

Griff's Back to the Future 2 ‘Pit Bull' Hoverboard On Sale For $13k

Ask any Back to the Future fan what product they would want from any of the films, and the first response you're most likely to hear is a time machine made out of a DeLorean. The second response your bound to receive is a hoverboard. The Mattel Hoverboard is a fine hoverboard if you're a beginner, but for those of us who have somehow been practicing for years, we want a real hoverboard. We want Griff's hoverboard.
Griff's hoverboard, which if you recall was called “Pit Bull” and even growled when Griff stepped onto it, was featured in Back to the Future Part II and was probably the most badass looking hoverboard we've ever seen.

Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1

The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television. Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment – a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter.
