Verizon Wireless now selling the Sony SmartWatch

Verizon Wireless now selling the Sony SmartWatch

. Time to stop the endless quest – The Sony SmartWatch can now be purchased straight from Verizon. It is hard to come accross a Sony store, and many of them don't usually have the accessory in stock. The Sony SmartWatch also can't be found in many other stores, so it is nice to hear that Big Red will be carrying this device.
Verizon has started selling the Sony Smartwatch though its website, as well as retail stores. It goes for the same $149.97 price, so this should be a no-brainer if you have been looking to purchase this smart watch.

Apple's spaceship-like Campus 2 Project updated, to be fully functional in 2015

At the Cupertino City Council Meeting in November last year, Apple co-founder and visionary Steve Jobs presented his vision of a spaceship-like campus that can hold around 2,000 employees in one building. During his 21-minute presentation, everyone listened as Jobs ironed out his vision in spectacular detail. He mentioned that the new campus will be designed by some of the best architects in the world and that they have plans of doubling the number of trees in the area as well. Jobs also mentioned that it will feature an auditorium, a fitness center, an R&D facility and an underground parking area.

US Cellular announces Galaxy S III pricing, starts at $200

US Cellular made it known that it would be accepting pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S III this upcoming Tuesday (with the device shipping sometime in July), but it left the pricing a mystery to keep us all in suspense for at least a few days. As it turns out, USCC will be offering the 16GB GS3 for $200, while the 32GB flavor will cost you an extra $50. Here's the kicker, though: these prices can be yours - after a $100 mail-in rebate.

Purported Motorola Dinara press shot slips out, carries a whiff of Atrix 3

We're taking this with a big block of salt, but we may have just had our first real peek at the Motorola Dinara's American form. A claimed press shot has the possibly Snapdragon S4-powered Android 4.0 phone carrying a fairly plain shell, but also sporting a 720p display and an all-touch interface borrowed from Motorola's recent Chinese introductions. The tip to The Verge hasn't produced any shocks, including the mention of LTE and preloaded AT&T apps, although the badging does give us some room for skepticism: AT&T rarely if ever leaves its three-letter name out of phone branding, and that front camera position is slightly odd.

E3 2012: not quite ready to go mobile

Perhaps E3 2012 will be remembered as the year that even Nintendo acknowledged the existence of smartphone gaming - if only begrudgingly so, dragged kicking and screaming into the early '10s. It's a brave new world here, a strange one in which everyone and their grandmother has become a gamer by default, carrying high powered portable computers in their pockets at all times.

Asus G75VW heralds the coming of '5G Wi-Fi'

. Mobile fans had better get ready, because there's yet another wireless buzzword coming down the pipeline. As The Verge's Jeff Blagdon reports, the new Asus G75VW gaming laptop is being billed as the first-ever laptop to come equipped with 802.11ac connectivity, otherwise known as “5G Wi-Fi” technology that's capable of delivering theoretical peak speeds of 1.3Gbps. Yes, it's somewhat annoying having another “G” in the mix when talking about wireless technology but 802.11ac is actually the fifth generation of Wi-Fi standards so it's not as though 5G Wi-Fi chip maker Broadcom is throwing numbers around willy-nilly.

Robot fish jives with tank-mates and has them fooled

We talked about how robots might see us humans off right before we breathe our last, in addition to helping us maintain our fitness by being our jogging buddy, but how about robots interacting with animals instead. In particular, we are talking about robot fish here, where a painted robot fish complete with a smiley face (not that the fish would care, I believe) clearly gained the approval of its tank-mates when placed within. It seemed that scientists' experiments with it attracted both male and female zebrafish through the movements of its mechanically operated tail.

Developed by thatgamecompany, Journey is a rather abstract sort of game where you explore a world and collect items while enjoying a rather beautiful soundtrack. Google's Brian McClendon: 'committed' to bringing all of Maps' features to iOS, other platforms

There was a Google event today, but you'd hardly know it based on the Q&A session. Question and question was hurled at Brian McClendon - Vice President of Engineering for Google Maps - surrounding Apple. With discussion around Apple's desire to introduce a mapping system of its own in iOS 6 to unseat Google from its preloaded app selection, Peter fielded lots of inquiries on the matter. He did an admirable job of dodging the obviously asinine bits, but continued to impress upon the crowd that Google itself was "committed" to bringing all of the features in Maps - 3D, offline, turn-by-turn, etc. - to iOS and other platforms.

Rearview mirrors with an integrated LCD display is not exactly the newest kid on the block in terms of driving hardware, but this particular model from Hamwha is different from the rest. It does not attach to your windshield like other in-car recorders, so that means less view obstruction.

Apple files new complaint with ITC, seeks to ban importation and sale of HTC devices

A delay at US Customs that prevented both the HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE from launching on time was only the beginning. HTC claims it has made the necessary adjustments to avoid violating a previous ruling in relation to Apple patent #5,946,647, and the actions of customs seem to agree.
