Rumors about the Motorola Moto X have been getting more and more intensive theses days and we even managed to get a glimpse of the upcoming smartphone from the Google-owned company. The latest bit is particurlarly interesting though - the Moto X smartphone was seen in the hands of no other than Eric Schmidt, Google's Executive Chairman. Mr Schmidt was spotted using the handset at the on-going Allen & Co. annual conference in Sun Valley and judging by the quality of the shots, he wasn't trying very hard to hide it.
The images give us a clear idea of what the upcoming smartphone from Motorola is going to look like.

Vine For Android Updated

We have received word in the past that Vine has not been doing too well after Instagram came up with their Vine rival, known as Video For Instagram, and while Vine for iOS has been updated with whispers of Vine heading for the Windows Phone platform, what about Vine for Android. Good news Android smartphone owners – you can now also shoot your very own Mario Bros. levels using food on Vine, as Vine for Android has been updated to bring it on par with what the iOS offering has.

Nokia Pro Camera app arriving on other Lumia devices shortly

Yesterday, Nokia announced the Lumia 1020 smartphone with a 41 megapixel PureView sensor and to go with it, a new version of the Nokia Pro Camera application with one of the most comprehensive range of image adjustment options found on a mobile phone. The best part about this software is not how it packs in a dozen options but the way the interface is laid out, which makes using them quick and easy. Unfortunately, as of now this app is only available on the Lumia 1020 but if you have an older Lumia device, fret not as you could be getting it soon.

A report from the WSJ today is helping us get an idea for exactly how serious Motorola will be taking their soon-to-be-released Moto X handset. To ensure the device is a hit with consumers, Motorola could be looking to spend upwards of $500 million to advertise the device. That's nothing to sneeze at, especially coming from an underdog. By comparison, Apple spent $333 million and Samsung $401 million in the US to advertise their devices, and Motorola could be looking to trump those numbers. But will it work?

There's no question Motorola will definitely be facing an uphill battle to claim the smartphone market share.

CyanogenMod might be the biggest ROM there is, but there area a bunch of other great developers out there putting together some great things on Android. One such creation is dubbed MIUI, something I'm sure anyone with Android ROM flashing experience knows a thing or two about. This ROM completely transforms Android, almost to the point where you could mistake it for an entirely different OS. Worms 3 Arriving On iOS Q3 2013

Chances are if you have been gaming for a long time, you might have heard of the game Worms. Well the good news is that if you were looking to get your hands on the game again, possibly in a more modern format, the game's developer, Team 17, has confirmed that Worms 3 is set for a release on iOS devices come Q3 2013. The game will support devices such as the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad, although pricing of the game have yet to be determined. According to the folks at Polygon, Worms 3 for iOS will feature 27 single-player missions, as well as the classic Worms multiplayer mode where players can play in "Forts" and "Deathmatch" modes.

Yesterday, following the update to Google Maps, we learned that the offline maps option had been taken out of the application. This invaluable feature was relied on by many-a people, and folks cried out to have it return. Google actually left it in the application and made it possible to prompt the action by searching for “OK Maps,” but its lack of a traditional menu option had us worried that it would soon be gone. We're glad to say that isn't the case. Google has listened to user feedback and brought the menu option back in a new follow-up update.

Opel may be bringing this Monza concept to the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall, but it's unlikely the Monza concept will spawn a production coupe to fill the void left by the Calibra and original Monza. Opel says the concept shows the firm's focus on "efficiency and connectivity," which will be applied to the brand's next generation of models. HTC One Google Play Edition Spotted at Bluetooth SIG

Apparently the folks who have been keeping tabs on the HTC One Google Play Edition have discovered that this particular smartphone was spotted over at the Bluetooth SIG. This particular model picked up certification approval for Bluetooth on July 5th, which was not too long after the application itself was filed on June 18th. The HTC One Google Play Edition apparently carried the model number PN071, which would reflect the fact that this happens to be a stock Android handset that can be purchased over from the Google Play Store.
