In the wake of images leaking earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz rolled out its Concept Style Coupe at the Transmission LA:AV CLUB at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), yesterday. Android Central managed to get a little scoop about the AT&T's HTC One X variant earlier this morning, reporting that pre-orders from RadioShack will open on April 22 with the phone priced at $149.99. You’ll have to wait another two weeks to get it in stores, where you’ll also find a few accessories to go with it. The One X is the first HTC phone I’ve been genuinely excited about for a long, long time (probably since the Desire HD/myTouch 4G came out with the second generation Snapdragon inside). Despite a few issues here and there, the One X has had some pretty good reviews.

Amazon Germany weighs in on Samsung Galaxy S III with 4.7-inch screen and 12 megapixel camera

May 3rd is no doubt going to be a monumental day for Samsung, but April 20th is certainly turning out to be quite memorable for potential specs of the Galaxy S III. Not only did we happen to come across a purported leak of the device itself, which suggested the handset would pack a 4.6-inch display and an 8 megapixel camera, but now a placeholder has popped up on Amazon's German site with a few contrasting specifications - most notably, a 4.7-inch screen and a 12 megapixel camera.

Expect fewer HTC phones with QWERTY keyboards in the future

Though the QWERTY keyboard has had a special place in HTC's Android lineup going back to phones like the T-Mobile G1, the form factor looks to be phased out by the Taiwanese manufacturer in the future. Speaking at a press event in Seattle, HTC creative director Claude Zellweger said that HTC will be “moving away from [the QWERTY keyboard] in general.” He explained that the extra effort placed in refining physical keyboard design would detract from other areas of devices and that time is better spent improving HTC's software input methods.

Gene Munster: iPhone 5 May Release in October [Rumor]

In an interview with Jon Erlichman from Bloomberg West, Apple analyst from Piper Jaffray, Gene Munster claims that he thinks that not only will the next generation of the iPhone come in October. He puts the reason why he thinks that it will be coming out that late in the year down to the fact that Qualcomm's 28nm chips are short in supply and because the iPhone 5 is likely to be LTE capable it would mean either a late Q4 release or the usage of a different chip which in Munster's opinion is unlikely because of Apple's relationship with Qualcomm.

Wrapsol Ultra Screen Protector for iPad 2 and New iPad Review

I don't normally use screen protectors on my electronics.  Most screen and body protectors require liquid for a smooth application, and the application directions warn you to remove the battery and keep the device turned off for a couple of days until the liquid has all evaporated.  That's great, but Apple iPhones and iPads don't have removable batteries, and I'm afraid of frying my expensive device during the wet application.  I've seen a couple of dry-apply screen covers, but they are usually for small devices.  The companies that make those dry-apply skins often have iPad-sized screen protectors, but they always seem to say that liquid

YouTube ordered to filter video uploads by German court, could face hefty fines

A Hamburg court decision has ruled that YouTube is responsible for what its users upload to the site. This therefore could make the site liable for any copyright infringement associated with that. Furthermore, the court has asked the video sharing giant to put filters in place that detect clips that are protected by the German royalties agency Gema at the point of upload. Worst of all, this could saddle the website with a hefty tab. Although this particular case only pertains to 12 videos (and the ruling to seven of those,) future fines could be as much as €250,000 ($330,000) per case.

Dubbed Urus, the Lambo sport-ute will officially be unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show shortly, but thanks to the magic of the Internets, the first few photos of the mighty 'ute have been leaked. It looks pretty similar to all of the renderings we've seen in the past, albeit with sleeker headlamps and a more low-slung appearance.

The Urus is expected to share its platform with the next-generation Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7 and upcoming Bentley SUV, but is tipped to be about 220 pounds lighter than all of those.

Samsung asserts eight more patents against Apple in California

. Despite Samsung and Apple's chief executives scheduled settlement talks, the Korean manufacturer has asserted eight additional patents against the Cupertino-based company. Two of the patents are part of the fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory licenses (FRAND) because they are essential to ETSI standards, according to FOSS Patents. Five of the patents, including the two FRAND patents, were originally applied for and granted to Samsung, while three others were acquired from different owners. The two battling companies have been in a bitter patent war since last April that includes dozens of complaints across 10 countries.
