Samsung is right this very moment sending one of its Galaxy S II phones up into orbit, by tethering it to a space balloon and setting it free. At the time of writing, the S II is just over 23km above the planet and relaying back live video (of a sort). It's all very exciting. There's an interactive web thing charting the balloon's progress and height online here, which promises to relay select tweets and possibly display them on the phone screen. WHILE IN SPACE!
