When the consumer preview of Windows 8 was released, a lot of people noticed that one of the most prominent features of Windows that was present since Windows 95 was missing: the Start button. Well, it looks like it's going to stay that way in the final version, according to a report from the Seattle Times. Tami Reller, head of marketing and CFO of the Windows and Windows Live Division of Microsoft apparently told Nomura, an investment banking firm, that the Start button which was removed in the preview editions of Windows 8, will not be placed back in the operating system when it is finally released.
Ubergizmo, Windows 8 won't have start button in the final version?
