We looked at how MetroPCS proudly claimed to be the first mobile carrier in the US market to make available the Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) service in that part of the world earlier this morning, and here we are with South Korean manufacturer Samsung announcing that they have the world's first Voice over LTE (VoLTE) smartphone – namely, the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE. Out in Korea latr this month, it will have a following in the global LTE markets as well, placing Samsung strategically at the forefront of the LTE market and mobile communications technology.
