In anticipation to the stressful holiday shopping, Target has announced it will set up a special in-store area featuring 20 of the most popular toys all tagged with QR codes beginning October 14th. Parents can simply scan the codes with their smartphones or tablets for an instant, secret mobile shopping. That should keep their children guessing whether Santa Claus has presents for them. It also lessens the stress of having to muscle in through throngs of shoppers fighting over the same Furby.
But first, they have to install Target's app to scan the codes and opt-in for the free shipping anywhere in the United States.
