Samsung did introduce the flip phone form factor that ran on the Android operating system in China sometime last year, where it was known as the Samsung SCH-W2013 if model numbers your cup of tea. The thing is, flip phones more or less lost out in the popularity race among smartphones for quite some time now, since one of the main drawbacks would be the screen size, or rather, the lack of it.
