Automotive News is reporting that the EPA ran tests on 20 or more car and truck models this year, with the goal of testing the veracity of OEM claims regarding fuel economy testing procedure. The coast-down test is used to measure overall vehicle aerodynamics, rolling resistance and drivetrain friction.
