Amazon released its latest Kindle Fire just last week called the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, which includes a neat feature that allows its users to chat with a member of the company's live support team through a "Mayday" button. As such, Amazon has rolled out an update to its tablet software that was specifically designed for its latest tablets. Amazon's Fire OS 3.1 update will now allow better support for work places that have a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environment as it allows Kindle Fire HD and HDX owners to use secure Wi-Fi network support and native virtual-private networking (VPN) software.
