It is no secret that at the moment, Nintendo's Wii U console is not doing as well as it should. In fact even against the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, the Wii U appeared to be struggling, with many claiming the lack of blockbuster titles as one of the main reasons. However there are developers who are also staying away from the console because of that, which does seem like a pretty vicious cycle. In any case while it remains to be seen how many units the Wii U will sell in its lifetime, a market search conducted by DFC Intelligence has suggested that the Wii U will sell about 25 million units in its lifetime.
