Archos 80 Platinum Could Be Rebadged Onda V812

Archos 80 Platinum Could Be Rebadged Onda V812

Archos began to introduce their quad-core tablets to the world in 2013 with the Archos 80 Platinum and Archos 97 Platinum, and history seems to repeat itself, as it does look as though one of these tablets might not have been designed in-house. What showed up on the FCC this week pointed out that there is an Onda logo at the back of the Archos tablet, which strongly suggests that Archos could very well be using an Onda V812 tablet and slapping their label on top of it instead.

BlackBerry Q10 Could Arrive In US In May Or June

BlackBerry Q10 Could Arrive In US In May Or June

It is rather weird to refer to RIM as BlackBerry now, considering how we've been so used to using both words in a single sentence. While BlackBerry has already announced the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone at the end of last month in New York City, they remained silent on the actual release date of the device. So what are we end users supposed to do. BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins did drop some hints, and if they are true to his word, it might mean the US would receive the BlackBerry Q10 sometime in May or June, and that, my friends, is still a long way off.

Neo N003 Phablet Comes With HD Display

Neo N003 Phablet Comes With HD Display

Can you do cheap while offering plenty of value in a particular product. Folks over at China seem to think so, or at least, Neo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer who recently paraded their Neo N003 which ought to receive an official announcement sometime next month, where it will be followed by actual retail availability in April or perhaps May at worst. It is rather unfortunate that the Neo N003 will be a China-only device, but perhaps someone might be game for a gray import. Let us check out what kind of bang do you get for your $160 (unlocked, mind you), all right.

Robot Inspired By Moth Tracks Down Smells

Robot Inspired By Moth Tracks Down Smells

Nature had always proven to be quite the inspiration for science over the ages. How else did you think that man learned how to fly, wings made out of wax notwithstanding. Well, a group of researchers have managed to come up with a tiny two-wheeled robot that will study just how the insect is capable of tracking down smells. In the process, these researchers intend to understand the scent-tracking behavior of a silkmoth (aka Bombyx mori), which eventually could assist scientists in developing robots which are able to sense environmental spills as well as leaks simply through the sense of smell.

Fujitsu Arrows Tab AR70B Hits Japan

Fujitsu Arrows Tab AR70B Hits Japan

Folks living in Japan do get some devices that will never see the light of day outside of the Land of the Rising Sun, and the Fujitsu F-Series phone is one of them, being the adulterer's handset of choice since it allows you to be sneaky without getting found out if you're careful enough. Well, here we are with another device that does seem to be firmly entrenched as a Japan-only device – the Fujitsu Arrows Tab Wi-Fi AR70B that will run on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

HTC Teases Something Camera-Related

HTC Teases Something Camera-Related

HTC has posted a very informative blog post about the history of photography. In it, HTC details the early development of photography, starting with the Daguerreotype, considered as the first commercially successful photographic process developed in 1839. HTC continues by writing about the first use of the “Kodak” trademark by the Eastman Dry Plate Company in 1887, as well as the $1 Brownie camera in 1990 that introduced photography to the masses. The history also includes the invention of the Polaroid camera in 1947 by Edwin H.
