Amazon buys 12 new cloud-video related domain names

It looks like Amazon is taking up its online streaming video service a notch - as the company has been reported to have purchased a dozen new domain names that are all related to cloud video. While it hasn't been announced what Amazon plans to do next, the company now owns a full list of domain names centered around “cloud”, “video”, “instant”, “streaming”, “prime” and “Amazon”. Amazon is currently considered third place in the realm of streaming video services, behind Hulu and Netflix.
