In order to update the iOS device to iOS 5 beta 5 from the previous beta, users will require iTunes 10.5 beta 5 which is the corresponding beta release for the latest beta of iOS. Users cannot update their devices to iOS 5 without iTunes 10.5 beta 5 unless an OTA update is being exercised. While we have yet to acquire the change log about the update, you can pretty much note that the new update as usual brings performance improvements and stability enhancements over the previous beta.
