After losing the case against a lone South Korean iPhone user over privacy issues, Apple is set to face a new civil case in Samsung's home turf. This time, it is a class action suit consisting of 27,612 South Koreans, who collectively seek over $2.5 million worth of damage costs over claims that their privacy has been violated because iPhone gathered their location data without their knowledge. Each plaintiff is asking for 1 million won ($932) for damages, and all of them are represented by Attorney Kim Hyeong-seok, the very same iPhone user who sued Apple and was compensated for damages last May.
