Tamron has unveiled its first E-mount lens for the Sony NEX cameras. The lens consists of 17 elements arranged in 13 groups. The focal length coverage is 18-200mm, which is equivalent to a range of 27mm wide-angle up to 300mm full telephoto in the 35mm format. The Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 Di III VC lens also features a seven-bladed iris diaphragm and a petal type lens hood. The company will launch this zoom lens on December 15th, 2011.
