Aakash, a tablet that is proudly made in India and has proven to be one of the cheapest tablets to date, will be getting a sequel that is unimaginatively called the Aakash 2. This new tablet too, will be announced by the government, although according to Telecom and HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, Datawind will no longer manufacture the Aakash 2, but rather, C-DAC and ITI will be involved in further development of the tablet device.
