Samsung says the Galaxy S III will be announced “in the first half of the year”

The Samsung Galaxy S III will not be released in April - this, we already know, because we debunked the rumor over the week-end, thanks to a Korean website. Now Samsung has directly confirmed that there will be no S III in April, via one of its official twitter accounts (also in Korean). Moreover, the company has reportedly told The Verge that the successor to the Galaxy S II will "be unveiled in the first half of the year", closer to its commercial availability.
So, hopefully, the new Galaxy will be in stores and ready for us to take home before the end of June.
