Google+ is a ghost town no more, at least for those who claimed it to be. Today, Google has announced that its sleek and beautifully-designed social networking service, Google+, has more than 500 millions users, with 235 million of them actively using the service – i.e. +1′ing apps in Google Play, hanging out in Gmail, connecting with friends in Search, and more. Google adds that about 135 million of its Google+ users are actively using the stream.
