ZTE Geek U988s confirmed as the world's first Tegra 4 smartphone

First seen last week in leaked photos, ZTE's U988s has been officially confirmed today. The Chinese company is calling the handset ZTE Geek – which means it's including it in the same series as the Geek announced in April (which is powered by an Intel Atom Z2580 processor). The new Geek U988s doesn't use an Intel chipset, instead relying on an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. As far as we know, this is the world's first smartphone to be powered by Tegra 4.
