Getac, maker of rugged laptops and handheld devices, veers away from Windows OS as it introduces its first Android tablet. The Getac Z710 has a seven-inch capacitive LCD touchscreen, making it the smallest rugged tablet in the market. The device comes with loads of certifications to prove it can withstand accidental (and even deliberate) drops as well as the elements, such as the MIL-STD-810G and IP65 ratings. The tablet can even work properly from as cold as -30 degrees Celsius to as tropical as 60 degrees Celsius.
