Ever since Microsoft first announced Windows Phone 8, Verizon said it would sell devices based on the new OS. Now we're hearing that the largest North American carrier will launch several WP8 handsets before the end of 2012. Cnet has talked to Verizon Chief Marketing Officer Tami Erwin, who confirmed that "multiple Windows Phones" would be released "in the fourth quarter.".
There's no word on exactly what WP8 devices would come to Verizon.
