As Google introduces its “Project Glass” AR-equipped eyewear (pictured), rumors emerged that Apple may be developing its own similar product. A patent has been granted to Apple earlier this week and in its reveals a clue on the company's possible plan on developing wearable displays. Apple Insider noted that patent number 8,212,859 covers “peripheral treatment for head-mounted displays,” even mentioning “see-through display technology” that may be equipped in some type of connected eyewear.
