Hot off news that Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) will take another stab at building a smartphone, SlashGear has learned that the company is already testing a device code-named “Bender” running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Alleged benchmark tests reveal that the Bender has a Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and a display with a 1366 x 720-pixel HD resolution. Not much else is known about the smartphone aside from those two key specs, but it seems to be clear that HP is done with webOS smartphones.
