Huawei unveils new Ascend G600 phone with Android ICS

Huawei has officially announced another new handset from its Ascend series - the Ascend G600. It's a mid-end device that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and should become available in select markets starting September. The Ascend G600 features a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, 8MP rear camera with Led flash, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, and MicroSD card support. The handset's 1930mAh battery can be fully charged in 4 hours, and "provides more than 15 days of standby time."

The G600 will be released in two color versions: black and white.
