Announced at NAB earlier this year, Sony's new Professional Camera the CineAlta F65 with its 8K CMOS that shoot 4K2K video is now officially announced in Japan with a launched scheduled to January 2012 at around 6 Million Yen or $65,000 USD in North America. Announced here only days before the F65 will be shown to a worldwide audience at the IBC conference in Amsterdam, the new camera clearly signals Sony's commitment to the Hollywood community and to developing the production technologies content creators need. The F65 derives true 4K resolution - and beyond - at the point of image capture.
